So winter is coming to a close, and we are getting our new Jayco Greyhawk Class C RV ready for travel. Neither of us was excited about the print fabrics in “Buster” so I have started to make some changes. I made curtains for the bathroom, as well as a tissue box cover and a new wallpaper border. We love the country feel, and our home is very reflective of that in every room.
I also designed a quilt for the bedroom in Buster, using earthy prints with leaves, moose, bears, twigs…. and also made a headboard cover to match. I put some pictures up over here…
Tony has been working on installing 3 new Trojan AGM batteries to give us some extra power on the days we are boondocking. No solar yet, we are so new to all this that we decided to just see how it goes this summer with just the extra batteries and see if we want to get into the boondocking thing a lot more.
We made a few small upgrades to make it comfier as well, and are getting it all packed with the kitchen needs, linens, etc. We had a slight hold up for a couple of months, I have osteoporosis and another vertebra broke. But all is just about back to normal now and we are excited and anxious to get rockin’ and rollin’!!
